The first step to opening the channel of abundance is to answer the question:
How can my resources be used to serve us so we can serve the world?
The external resources I have now and the internal assets I carry within me have a Divine a purpose. Those “means” are meant to meet needs and to be shared with people and projects that serve us so we can serve the world.
How can I shift my spending mentality from what I want to how will this serve the world?
My health and well being is important. Money spent on keeping myself at an optimal functioning level serves the world so I will be able to fulfill my purpose!
How can I shift my scheduling mentality and perception of time from a “have to” or “need to” frame of mind to an “I want to”, interdependent model?
The time I spend in meditation, allowing God to speak and give me daily, hourly assignments is critical for me to know who to talk to, what to say, and where to go. The time I spend actively listening to others, understanding their desire to contribute and the needs they are expressing allows me to understand how I can meet that need and direct their valuable contribution.
How am I showing up each day, in every encounter and ongoing relationship?
My “personal brand” is love, forgiveness and compassion. Is my work, on a personal and professional level, honoring my “brand”? I understand that others are not used to this. They are expecting you to be self serving and trying to gain power over them through your unconditional love. Love anyway!
